STUDENT OF THE WEEK:
Our Student of the Week is Oakley! Oakley has a rock collection, and rides bike
with no training wheels! Some of her
favorite foods are watermelon, tomato soup, and BLT’s. She enjoys watching the movie Sing, and hopes
to be a dancer one day! J
TESTING:
We will be taking our Unit 4 Math test tomorrow, as well as
finish up our NWEA Reading Test.
Therefore, it is so helpful that your child has a good night’s rest and
is to school on time!
LOOKING AHEAD:
Jump Rope for Heart will be on the same day as our Valentine’s
Day party, February 14th. As
of right now, it looks like Jump Rope for Heart will be in the AFTERNOON this
year??
VALENTINE’S DAY
I have let the children decorate their own Valentine’s Day box
at home the last couple of years, and this has worked out well! I have extra tissue boxes here at school if
anyone needs a box to decorate.
Otherwise, cereal boxes work well too.
J
A class list is on the back of this sheet. You may have your child use this to fill out
their Valentine’s Day cards. Please have them write their friend’s
names. This is good handwriting
practice. Encourage them to begin each
name with an uppercase letter, and the rest of the letters are lowercase.
